24' Center Console
The 249 FS is a natural evolution of the 239FS, one of our most successful boats ever. The 239 FS remains a cornerstone of the lineup and continues as one of the best-handling and most successful boats in its class. The 249 FS builds on that proven platform while filling the size and feature gap between the 239 FS and the 263 FS. Redesigned rear boarding ladder and aft deck The rear boarding ladder is now integrated inside the boat rather than mounted on top of the deck. An additional rung improves ease of use, and the new design creates a cleaner, safer aft deck with uninterrupted walk-through space. Improved bilge access One of the most common service-related notes on the 239 FS — bilge access — has been addressed with a large, removable storage box which dramatically improves access for maintenance and service work. Seating Upgrades The 249FS includes the molded wraparound bow seating, a popular feature adapted from the 263FS. The aft seat has been redesigned for comfort and bilge access, and the upholstery is upgraded all around. The 249FS will also feature an optional console backrest upgrade that includes fold down armrests for comfort. Magnet-secured cushions Removable bottom cushions are now held in place with magnets rather than snaps, creating a cleaner appearance and improving ease of use and longevity. Pilot House Hardtop design For the now standard Hardtop, the traditional round tubing framework has been replaced with a new D-channel hardtop design integrated into the console, including an acrylic enclosure that delivers a cleaner, more contemporary look customers have been requesting, while reducing intrusion into the cockpit. Larger console without sacrificing walk-around space The console interior volume has increased by approximately 20%, with a larger dash area for electronics — all without increasing the console’s footprint. Walk-around space beside the console remains wide enough for most people to walk straight through comfortably. Available thru hull anchor windlass The windlass can now be installed under the deck rather than on top, allowing both a windlass and trolling motor to be installed without interference and keeping the foredeck clean and uncluttered.
